Abstract: A first theoretical-political obstacle that arises when we investigate and discuss social conflicts in general, is to reflect the ways that we name it, assuming that language marks, constructs reality and gives a perspective of the way in which the problem in question is understood. In the case of the sale of sex for money, we must ask ourselves how we will call the individuals who are involved in the activity: prostitutes? Sex workers? In the same way, when we name those who buy sex, we will call them clients?

The article argues so as to there is a link between the practices of women that sold femininity and their social group, the artistic legacy of the regulatory system after that regional social dynamics. Finally, it contributes to a topic rarely studied as a result of focusing on peri-urban or rural spaces after the abolition of regulated prostitution.
